FAQ
Some of our most Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Why do we meet on Saturdays?
We share a building with Spanish church Iglesia Evangélica Betel, who are gracious to let us use their space when they’re not using it. Since they meet on Sunday mornings, we use their building on Saturday nights.
2. How should I dress?
We are overall casually dressed, but you are welcome to dress up or dress casually.
3. How long is the service?
The service typically lasts about an hour and 30 minutes. Afterwards, we have a time of fellowship and snacks, which can last up to an hour.
4. What is the service like?
Our service is a time of worshipping in song together and hearing a message from the Word. The first Saturday of the month, we have communion together.
5. Is there a kids’ program available?
Currently, we have a kids’ program available during the school year for ages 5-10. They are in the service during the worship and then they will go to their class to learn a Bible lesson and do crafts or games together. On the first Saturdays of the month, which includes communion, we have a Family Service, where the kids are a part of the entire service. Coloring and activity sheets are available for kids ages 10 and under.
6. Are there programs throughout the week?
We have men’s and women’s Bible studies that meet every other week and a young adult ministry that meets weekly. See Weekly Activities for more information.
